**10:00:** Intro to LCS and the UHNM Quality Improvement Academy

**10:30:** Dr Ruth Bednall presents "After Mid Staffs – How Operational Excellence Delivered Strategy"  
The culture change journey from a Care Quality Commission rating of 'Requires Improvement' to 'Good'.

**11:15:** Beyond Strategy – Appreciative Inquiry Workshop  
Weaving the golden thread – re-establishing the link between cQI and organisational goals when the strategic link is lost.

**12:00:** LUNCH – (bring your own or buy onsite)

**13:00:** Road to Recovery – Avoiding Fake Lean While Delivering in the Current NHS Climate  
How do QI teams demonstrate value? Engagement using the triple bottom line. (Peer review using Six Thinking Hats).

**14:15:** Q&A and Ask the Audience – Open discussion and networking
